I'm specifically bought this refrigerator because of the doors and drawers for the freezer. I find that bottom freezers cause you to stack items and you lose them in the bottom. The drawers are much more efficient in my opinion. I do love the water picture that autofills. However I think where you failed is the door in door. The way you have it designed the door and door opens too male Crow condiments. It should open to the water bottle. Otherwise you have to open the whole door to get to the water bottle leave it open while you feel your glass. That should be the door and door where the water bottle swings out and the whole door doesn't have to open. Another suggestion I'd make is the bins in the refrigerator are soft clothes but the bins in the freezer are not soft close I would recommend you make them both the same.

We absolutely love this refrigerator. Seems like a unicorn among refrigerators in this price range if I am honest, whoever designed it is awesome. It holds temperature very well. It's quiet and we never got any significant frost in the freezer. The shelving is well designed and we really appreciate the interior lighting. It's more roomy than many others we have experienced (even with the same dimensions). Sadly we left this unit in the house we sold since we were moving across the country and the realtor said we should leave it. We ARE buying a new one for the new house. We did notice that there is a very similar model so we will make sure to get the one with the model number beginning with PAD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We™€™ve had the refrigerator for a couple of weeks now and I just love it. The sleek design and look is awesome. The interior configuration is really good. It took a little getting used to but I really like that the right side door opens two way so you can just access the door shelves or the whole interior. The water pitcher is easy, convenient and self filling. The freezer is wonderful I love having the drawers instead of a big space that so much gets lost in. The ice maker drawer is easy and convenient also. I use both sides of the freezer as a freezer but you can turn it into refrigerator or a drink cooler if needed. Overall this is a great choice and I highly recommend it.

I do like this refrigerator. It is the second one to be delivered. The first one was dented and badly scratched on the front door. It was refused. Its replacement arrived in perfect condition. The delivery crew ran it into a metal chai and dented the left door. We kept this one due to the aggravation of not having a refrigerator.

I like the water pitcher. It does not take up much space on the door but gives us filtered water which we can dispense or pour in the coffee maker. I like the door in door that let's me pull out the milk easier or reach the back of the dairy section as an alternative. I think I'm really going to love the freezer compartments. The old freezer was great, but it was so large and deep we lost food on the bottom forever. I like the flexibility of the bottom right, although I question whether we will really use it other than a freezer once we are set up. The ice maker capacity is great. It looks great, it is very well made and thoughtfully designed. Day 1 - we love it!

Bought this to replace a slightly larger one by a different manufacturer. Chose this for the pullout drawers in the freezer which the one I am replacing had. Best freezer ever! Old brand replaced drawers with shelves which was a non-starter for us. Thought the water pitcher dispenser was a little silly but turns out we LOVE that feature. Instantly refills the pitcher with cold water whenever any is used. The ice maker makes lots of ice. Great Refrigerator so far, although I miss the size of my old one.

I love the four door design of this fridge. I am surprisingly pleased with the door-in-door feature for quick access to condiments and other small items. It was not the selling feature for me but has quickly turned into a perk worth highlighting. The water pitcher/dispenser design is perfect for me. However, someone looking to quickly fill multiple water bottles (or anything more than the one pitcher can hold) may be frustrated by the pitcher feature due to the wait time while it refills to keep going. The fridge space is huge and can easily fit a generous grocery order for the "average" family. Another small but helpful detail is the shelf that can slide back to allow for storage of taller items. I use both bottom sections as freezer space and it is so much more functional than the common single drawer design or narrow side-by-side design. The drawers are large and allow for easy organization and access to items without things getting buried. Using the single side as the only freezer space may be limiting due to the ice maker taking up one storage drawer, so anyone hoping to use the second half as a chiller may want to consider other options. After never having seen a fridge with this design prior to my search for a new fridge, I am very impressed and have recommended to multiple friends and family when they decide they are ready to upgrade/replace appliances.

Good roomy refrigerator

I am buying this refrigerator to replace my old sideway open whirlpool refrigerator. I am still getting used to the frig™€™s double door style for the top. Capacity is good, especially the freezer. I set the bottom right to freezer for meat and poultry while the left side for fruits and packaged food. It™€™s much more organized now. I can™€™t comment on the ice tray and cold water as I don™€™t have that set. And so I use the ice drawer for more storage. Really like the shelf for taller beverages. So far so good. Haven™€™t had any problem with the refrigerator yet.

Not very satisfied with upper left door wanting to close itself halfway after opening. Difficult and frustrating to remove or stock items. Have to keep pushing it back or have someone to hold it. It didn't seem as bad at the store, but there was no load on door then. After placing groceries and water pitcher is full, will not stay open. And we did have it leveled. If we had know what a nuance it would be, would NOT have purchased.

We love our 4-door fridge. Ice maker drawer is fantastic, and we always have plenty of ice. Water pitcher is great to have too. We also like the flexibility of being able to use the bottom right section as a freezer, chiller, or refrigerator.

Great fridge for the most part only have a few complaints. Fingerprints are ridiculous. Can not keep them off and they stick out bad so constantly cleaning. The left door won™€™t stay open on its own. I think because of the water on the side maybe. I have checked and leveled it and still can™€™t get it. Right side does fine. The ice maker is pretty slow and a huge portion of the ice gets stuck together. I have to pull all the ice, run water over the stuck together ice, then reinstall. Not a huge deal but takes away from ice capacity and it™€™s already a slow process. Do love the space it provides. Lots of room in the doors too. Looks bare at time with all the room it provides. So if you need the capacity this is the one.

We just got this installed two days ago so this is not a review on reliability but on user satisfaction. Five stars all the way. We replaced a side by side and really like the way the French doors look. It has lots of organization. I wasn™€™t sure if I would miss having the ice and water accessed outside the door but I don™€™t miss it at all. Sleeker look to the fridge. Water pitcher inside is a feature I am enjoying for drinking a glass of water (this filter makes the water taste way better than my Samsung, no chlorine taste at all) or filling my Keurig from the pitcher (rather than filling several glasses from the external dispenser).

We™€™ve had this fridge since April, so 7 months now. We really like the way it™€™s organized. I particularly like the automatic pitcher, and not having water and ice outside the door saves a lot of mess. The way the shelves are organized, it can really hold a lot, and keep things like eggs and cheese and condiments handy. It really can hold a lot. The different zones maintain their respective temperatures as expected, and the finish on the door wipes down easily to look nice. The depth is perfect to sink into the wall next to the pantry. Only the thickness of the door extends from the face. Also, it™€™s very quiet and doesn™€™t put out detectable heat from above or below. The old fridge could warm your toes. We moved the old fridge to the utility room, discontinued using a beverage cooler, so adding this fridge we did not notice a bump in the electric bill

The delivery/assembly reviews shouldn™€™t be included and impact the actual reviews for the Refrigerator itself. Just get it! Stop looking! You™€™ll love it! They have fixed the issues with the autofill pitcher overflowing or the spigot leaking. The stream from the spigot is fast and obviously the pitcher flow is great for filling up coffee machine, etc. Like ice? 12 pounds of ice at your fingertips. No more buying ice from the corner store for coolers and summer barbecues. Door in door feature was something I didn™€™t necessarily need but it has come in very handy for my kids to easily access milk or condiments and for creamer for my husband. The best part is the quad door design. Our old LG was a quad door too and we loved it so much, it was a must. Each drawer organizes meat, veggies, kids frozen breakfast items, etc. It™€™s not a black hole like the standard French door models with the large pull out drawer freezer. I like how the ice is completely separate too in the quad door models. My husband loves how bright it is and says he can see things better. It really had helped us in not wasting food because we can see what™€™s in the back of the refrigerator easier. There is nothing I don™€™t like! Even if I only get 7 years out of this, I™€™m so happy to have had these features in this price range for those 7 years! P.S. I had no issue with delivery or assembly from Lowe™€™s.

We love our new GE 4 door refrigerator. It is replacing a Samsung refrigerator that we had for less than 5 years after it just quit working. The GE is so nice and big with enough room for our family. We had nothing but issues with the Samsung ice maker and the GE ice maker has already surpassed my hopes. The interior is so bright with all the LED lighting , we couldn't be happier.

Installation was extremely easy. Hookup the water supply line and plug in, that's it. I gave the unit 24 hours to chill as recommended and used my time to review the user manual online as it is not included with the unit. There I found how to set the temperature controls for the hybrid freezer/refrigerator/chiller section which is on the bottom right of this model. Once I set it to operate as a freezer for added capacity freezer space, it was ready for use the following morning. Very pleased with the flexibility of how to configure the shelves making use of the refrigerator space more efficient to fit my family's storage needs. The only thing I would recommend is making sure you not only measure your space for fit of where the unit will go but also measure any doorways you will have to go through. I made that mistake and the four doors had to be taken off to allow the unit through my 30-inch doorway to the kitchen and then be put back on. Even with that added step, the doors come off and go back on relatively easy with some tools. I have only had this unit for a week now, but I would highly recommend this unit for anyone considering which unit to purchase.

Converting function doesn't work

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the refrigerator I purchased recently. I received the new unit yesterday, but the conversion function from chiller to freezer does not operate as advertised. In addition, the LED temperature controls are unresponsive. The primary reason for selecting this model was its advertised capability to provide additional freezer capacity by converting the chiller compartment. Unfortunately, this feature does not function at all. I contacted GE customer support immediately after discovering the issue; however, I received no effective assistance. Moreover, no technician has been available for service even after two weeks of waiting. As a consequence, frozen food and meat transferred from my previous refrigerator have been exposed to elevated temperatures within the refrigerator compartment, leading to potential spoilage and health risks. I kindly request that this issue be resolved promptly, either through immediate technical repair or replacement of the defective unit.

This fridge is an upgrade over the Samsung due to the four door feature, epecially in the freezer portion. The sectioned areas with drawers provide efficient space to organize frozen items, whereas before, they were all thrown into the single bin. The two issues we currently have are: 1) the ice melts in the bin and sticks to the bottom and 2) I wish the height placement of the door bins could be adjusted - many wine bottles do not fit upright. We've only had it for a few months now, durability will be the ultimate test.

Freezer On New Fridge Not Working Properly

Temperature in freezer have not been working properly since I bought it 3 months ago and have had technicians come out 4 times and still is not working properly. Right hand side of freezer the temperature is room not even cold and I have had to throw out spoiled food.

Love the fridge, two complaints; problem with the water overflowing, waiting for the new pitcher to arrive, to see if that's the problem. Two, the drawers are cheap, would have expected easy glide drawers. These are very clunky and jam up easily. Love the light in the back, wish it was a little brighter and could change colors.

Love the look, space and lighting of this refrigerator. The drawers for the freezer and flex area are spacious and easy to use. My specific refrigerator is having repetitive issues with keeping temperature stable. It keeps leaking gases and the warranty service takes forever. 1st breakdown at 6 months, 2nd breakdown 10 months old. Very disappointing.

Do not buy this refrigerator. Compressor failed under 6 months. GE promised expedited compressor delivery. Instead they delivered a red cap dryer component and forgot to ship the compressor. Then thy promised to get it out right away and instead of shipping to me they sent it to the 3rd party repair company who didn't even know they received it. Their customer support/service is terrible, their product is terrible. Their 3rd party service is incompetent. Into the 4th week now with out a working refrigerator in my kitchen.

Great Refrigerator - a couple of improvement sugge

Overall I am very satisfied with this refrigerator. I like the bottom freezer with two doors and pull-out drawers. One improvement that can be made is either provide one shelf on the convertible side or make it optional accessory that people can replace a drawer with a shelf. It is hard to put some of the items in the drawers due to the size of access. Another improvement can be a deli drawer that can be attached to a shelf.
