Cellophane wrap nightmare

Getting the drawers out and the plastic off these drawers is impossible makes it an expensive tacky looking fridge freezer. Why would you make it impossible to take the cellophane wrap off? You literally put it on then pinned it in. Something I was so excited for I am extremely underwhelmed about.

It's a pretty fridge, but the ERR code won't go away after I replaced the H2O filter. I used a GE specific filter as suggested, tried shutting off power, reinstalled filter 3 x's. At one point, I thought I had one the battle but as soon as I reinstalled the condiment shelf, the ERR came back!!! Right now, I HATE MY 6 MONTH OLD FRIDGE! Help...

I love the look of this refrigerator and the capacity of the fridge and freezer sections. It's also counter depth which in my small kitchen is a big plus. I'm very pleased overall with my purchase. My only concern at the moment is that the refrigerator section is running a bit colder than where I have set the temperature. Not freezing things, just doesn't need to be that cold, approx 30 degrees when it's set at 37 degrees. I thought it might be because it was pretty empty at first, but now that I've filled it a reasonable amount it's still running colder than necessary. I will be keeping my eye on this.

Poor manufacturing and service

We purchased this refrigerator nine months ago. Within nine months, the evaporator had a pinhole from poor manufacturing where the copper line rubbed on the evaporator creating a hole. The condenser oil blew throughout the refrigerator, causing the lines to be contaminated, spewing, black haze into the refrigerator as it was burnt by the heated compressor. In addition, the thermistor and control panel are still not replaced. Also 2 of the rollers on the crisper drawer in the meantime. Your warranty service has been awful and we™€™ve been without a fridge/freezer for over a month and a half. We were offered $100 to replace our food which these days is barely enough to replace the condiments. Seriously disappointed in GE.

Good but bad design of drawers

Really like the refrigerator. Only issue is with removing drawers. Seems like a bad design. I am not able to remove the ice tray drawer. Seems like the little tab is frozen or broken. Have to call service. Just seems like a bad design. Other than that, we like the refirgerator.

The configuration is excellent and convenient for our use. Storage space is arranged for easy access. The capacity is vey good for two seniors. The wifi control with the app is very convenient and works better than the on refrigerator controls in my opinion. Love the auto fill water pitcher. The only small thing that could be better is the ice storage when full will sometimes have ice cubes slide back and land in the tray below.

We™€™ve only had this fridge for several days but so far it is working well with no issues. The ice maker is a bit slow to make ice and if you need a lot of freezer space this design may not be for you. We are using the convertible side for fridge space since we have an additional freezer. Runs quiet which is important. We like the water jug dispenser and hope it holds up after substantial use. A nice refrigerator and happy with our purchase.

Absolutely love this refrigerator. We replaced a LG Fridge that was constantly having problems. We have only had it a month so I can't speak to the longevity. Some of my favorite features are: the ice maker we never run out now, the convertible botto. Left section can be used as a fridge or freezer. The organization drawers in the freezer easy to see items good capacity. The water pitcher that automatically refills We always have cold filtered water. Lastly the easy access door for frequently accessed items like milk and coffee creamer. The back wall LED light is great and really lights up the interior. The only thing I would wish for is that it was black stainless steel.

After a few weeks this unit has met all expectations. Very quiet and efficient. Maintains good temperature range on both Freezer and Refrigerator. Lighting is excellent. Ice dispenser produces enough ice for a family of 6 easy! Freezer configuration with drawers is a little bit of a hassle for quick access, but offers a very clean ergonomic solution. Only short coming identified is vegetable drawer is rather narrow and will not hold a standard head of ice berg lettuce. This however can be managed if you convert the optionally configurable lower unit to be a refrigerator rather than a freezer section (a big advantage around holidays when a lot of prepared food needs refrigerator space!!

Ice maker and ice storage not the best.

While the configuration is great, the ice maker leaves something out. The size of the tray is nice but it spills ice into the drawer below. This should not happen. Also since there are just 2 of us in the house and do not use a great deal of ice....the ice in the drawer has mostly frozen into a solid block twice now and would look to be an ongoing problem. The only solution is to remove the drawer and defrost in the sink and start over.

I specifically bought a counter-depth, four-door fridge with no ice maker in the door, so my options were pretty limited. My only annoyance is the ice storage design™€"ice cubes frequently slip over the back and end up in the drawer below instead of where they™€™re supposed to collect. I™€™ve gotten used to it and just store certain items in that drawer accordingly. Otherwise, I absolutely love this fridge. There™€™s ample storage in the doors, and I haven™€™t found any ™€œwasted™€ or unusable space yet™€"unlike my last fridge, which had a door shelf I never touched. The back lighting makes it easy to see everything, and the half-door access for milk and similar items is just fabulously designed.

Very loud clunking noise

We have had technicians come and assess the noise and they are unable to diagnose the issue. The noise is intermittent and extremely loud and happens about 20 to 30 times per day. I also bought one of these refrigerators for my mother, and her™€™s does not make the clunking noise that mine does. I think I have a defective unit and I would like to have it replaced. It was installed new on September 12, 2025. I have an audio recording of the sound that I can send to you.

Having the company deliver the new fridge 3 weeks earlier than promised was a nice surprise. All in all: the new 22.3 cu ft quad-door GE Profile exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love the new fridge for ease of organization, visibility, and accessibility. This is a game changer for us in fresh, healthy eating, meal prep timesaving, and reducing food waste. My favorite features: wide open shelves and large containers; all containers in both top fridge and bottom freezers are pull-out ; ™€œdoor-in-door™€ opening of top right refrigerator door for frequent access items throughout the day (beverages, condiments, snacks, butter, etc.) Versatile new feature: bottom right quad can be used as freezer (0F), refrigerator (37F), or chiller (~wine & beverage cooler 42F). Have had it for about 10 days and so far so good. It™€™s a little smaller than our previous Samsung but that had been really too big and its ice maker had big problems. This ice maker makes nice larger size cubs and a LOT. We like the door in door feature and the refilling water pitcher. We also have GE gas cooktop and Cafe Advantium microwave and wall oven for a long time and love them.

I love absolutely love this refrigerator. It fits all of needs perfectly. The water pitcher is better than the dispenser because I use that refill my water bottle or use it for cooking. I don™€™t have to wait for the dispenser to fill up. The quality is great inside and outside. The 4 compartments with one can be used as a flex is the best invention ever. Wish it came in white!!

I haven™€™t bought this fridge, but I really really like it! Would purchase it if it was available in white. White is hard to come by in refrigerators, but it™€™s a very bright and cheery color for a kitchen. Don™€™t like drab gray.( stainless steel)

Right hand door self closes - so annoying

I love everything about this refrigerator except the right hand refrigerator door. Door closes on its own so you have to fight with it anytime you you need access. I™€™m so disappointed there is no ™€œ fix™€ for this. It™€™s really kind of a deal breaker. 🙁

Lots Of Room-SO NICE

Nice Fridge lots of room. Works like the company not to good. Just A sorry piece of junk. Had to unplug it because it had A bad vibration sound coming from underneath it. Door will not seal correctly and would not stay closed. Top temp is 32 and the bottom is 52 nice going keep up the good work.

This is a nice looking refrigerator that is very versatile in that you can choose to use the bottom right door as a freezer, refrigerator or chiller. Since we purchased the counter depth model, we lost capacity, so it made more sense to use the bottom right door as additional refrigerator space. We have a freezer in the garage, so we didn™€™t need as much freezer space inside. The amount of ice this unit makes is amazing! Love the pitcher of water in the door and the back lit LED panel as it™€™s super bright. I™€™m so glad we chose this model for all of the features that it provides and it™€™s sleek design as well. Thank you very much!

Nice refrigerator!

So far I like the refrigerator a lot. I use the bottom two space as a freezer and I organize it by having the one side for raw meat and the other side for non-raw meat items. As for the refrigerator space, I love the amount of things I can store on the doors. My only negatives are, the fruit and vegetable drawers are a bit small and there isn™€™t a deli drawer. Otherwise, I™€™m enjoying the refrigerator so far.

Door Self Closes

We purchased this cabinet depth refrigerator as a replacement for our old GE Cafà French door, bottom freezer unit. The flexibility of using the lower right side as a freezer, chiller or refrigerator was the primary reason. We are fortunate enough to have a stand-alone freezer, so this 4-door unit allowed for addition refrigerator capacity. Never enough space during the Holidays™€¦ Other reviews tout some of the nice features, so no need to reiterate here. There is a downside that potential buyers may want to consider. The upper left-hand door closes on its™€™ own as if spring loaded, fast enough that one cannot put anything in the left side that takes two hands, unless someone else holds the door open or unless it is wedged open with a dishtowel. We called for service. The service technician checked the level (front to rear and side to side - all okay), disassembled the door to check for internal binding of water tubes, or other, removed the door to check the hinges, etc. all to no avail. He gave up and said he would call GE and return. He returned a week later and reported that GE indicated the door is heavy and try sloping the unit from rear to front. The refrigerator now slopes forward, rather than the customary rearward. The left-hand door still closes most of the way on its™€™ own in under 3 seconds, but does remain open about 75 degrees, which allows some access but not full access when restocking after the weekly shopping. The need to wedge to door open or repeatedly elbow it out of the way is annoying, especially given the cost of the unit. Indeed, it seems a ™€œheavy door™€ would fall open with the unit sloping forward™€¦? If you can check a stock unit before purchasing, it would be a good thing to do. Hopefully, GE will come up with a solution.

I love the design of this fridge at first I didn't but now I do. The temperature control is great where it is located on the fridge and easy to use. Noise level is quite love that better than our last fridge. I love how I can use every inch of this fridge and still have enough room for snacks. Very good fridge so far.

Such a beautiful fridge. I love how it's so much easier to organize our groceries and food and know what's readily available with the drawers and shelves. Only two minor complaints. You can't take the doors off to move it through narrow doorways due to the water line being on the door for the refillable pitcher. And you can only lower the temperature on the fridge to 34°, it won't go any further. The app is fun and you can control how bright the lights are inside along with the temperature. The right hand door opens up two different ways You can easily access what's stored in the door by pressing a lever. That is going to take some getting used to. And then you have the option to open it fully. The French doors and gorgeous and are such an upgrade from our old side-by-side. Not noisy at all and very energy efficient compared to our very old fridge.

The friedge you always wanted!

This fridge was a life changer for our family. It's incredibly spacious and has all the functionality you need in your kitchen. Comes with a little jar that refills constantly. You can dispense water from it or take it out. The freezer is split in two, each with its own temperature is case you want half it to be a chiller. It also makes tons of ice. The top right door opens partially so you can access only drinks. Super quiet, great energy efficiency, has wifi capability so you can adjust temperature and check when you have to change the water filter. It's amazing!

A Smart and well designed fridge!

Beautiful and functional! I love how much control I have over temperature. We will use the flex space as a freezer primarily, but love that it can be changed to a chiller for parties. Or a regular refrigerator if we need more space. The compartments are so cleverly designed. Only flaw is that in our space, we can™€™t open the door enough to pull the drawers completely out on the bottom right side.
