This stove does just what I need. There is no hook up to cell phones to operate it...Very sleek for my newly remodeled kitchen... I am teaching my 12 year old son to cook and this is the perfect stove to do that! Very good price! Bon Appetit!

I had someone to pick this stove up in black from Paul's in Newark N.J. for my elderly parents! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because all of the black surface burner caps are all 4 different sizes! They all should be the same size!

This appliance is very easy to clean. It looks sharp. One drawback would be the bottom broiler so low to the ground you have to sit on the floor.

We love the shiny sleek look of our black range. The house we bought had a gas stove top and nonfunctioning double oven. We bought this stove to combine these 2 appliances. We can now use burners without lighting with fire starter. I had read reviews saying stove had no clock/timer and I realized when we had installed that there was no light in oven. Basic range but fits our needs.

We have had this for about a month now, works as expected and heats well. The only concern I have is that you can see the flames and the glow on the floor below the oven while it is on. Not sure that itis supposed or that it would be good if we had small kids.

This is a bare-bones stove. 4 burners and an oven with pull out broiler drawer (single heating element for oven as opposed to a separate broiler element). So far, so good. Oven temperature settings are accurate and burners work fine. I am not a chef so was not looking for a restaurant quality stove. No need for more than 4 burners or fancy grill. Only used the self cleaning feature on my old stove once so didn't fell I needed anything like that (I don't roast a lot of meat or greasy stuff so oven doesn't get very dirty). The only thing it doesn't have that I wish it did is an oven light, but that is only a minor inconvenience. Really like that it doesn't have a lot of fancy electronics. Not only do I not want to pay extra for such features, but I figure those are just more expensive things to repair or replace at some point. I will be happy with this stove if it lasts for a long time and requires no extensive repair during it's lifetime. If at some point it needs repair, there's not all that much to it so maintenance/repair should not cost a fortune and may be simple enough for me to do myself. Do note that the black colored version shows any little smudge so if you want a black one, be prepared to regularly clean it if you want it to look nice and shiny.

This Hotpoint Range has all the features necessary for successful cooking. The gas burners give a strong flame which is easily and finely adjustable. The oven size is ample.
There is more than enough room on the top of the range where the burners are located. The range was easy to install with adjustable legs to level the range.
